M-811 Wedge
「寄せる、上げる」ウェッジの基礎を忠実に
M-811 、各番手ごとにしっかり役割分担されたメリハリのあるやや小ぶりなウェッジです。
構えた瞬間からピッチ&ランを連想させるA (50), A＋(53) は、ネック周りを研磨で絞り若干グースの入った、多くのプレイヤーが構え易いと思うであろう正統派アプローチウェッジ。
S (56)、L (59) はフルスコアラインを採用。フェイスを開いて斜めに大きく使う事を前提にしたロブウェッジ。
L (59) に至ってはヘッドの重量配置をトゥ側に多く寄せ、ソールのヒール側を大胆に研磨する事で、クラブを地面に置いた瞬間からフェイスがスッと開く、いわゆる「ペタペタ仕様」となっています。
M-311 CB同様にやや小ぶりの玄人ルックではありますが、中級レベルのプレイヤーから十分に使って頂ける、「打ち方に迷わない」素直さが特徴のM-811Wedge。
Staying true to the fundamentals of wedge design
The M-811 is a slightly compact wedge, each loft tailored for a specific role.
From the moment you address the ball, the A (50) and A+ (53) wedges are perfect for pitch-and-run shots. The neck is ground down to create a subtle goose neck, making these wedges ideal for straightforward approaches.
The S (56) and L (59) wedges, with full score lines, are specialized lob wedges designed to lift the ball high and stop it quickly by utilizing the clubface at a steep angle.
The L (59) wedge features aggressive trailing edge grinding. The head weight is distributed more towards the toe, allowing the face to naturally open when the club is grounded.
Like the M-311 CB, the M-811 wedge has a slightly compact, professional appearance. Yet, it’s clear and easy to use for intermediate players, making it a reliable choice for a variety of shots.
